They were police officers, they will answer for harassing people in homelessness crisis
In Koszalin, four former police officers face charges for harassing homeless individuals. The misconduct, which began in July, involved unwarranted interventions and intimidation tactics. An internal investigation by the police led to the case being referred to the prosecutor's office, which initiated a formal inquiry. Three officers were dismissed from service, while one faced disciplinary action. The harassment included nighttime confrontations, use of pepper spray, and destruction of personal belongings. Four victims have come forward, with three officers admitting to their actions. Two officers and a civilian were detained for three months but were released early. The accused could face up to eight years in prison.
