Lisbon Chamber guarantees solution for Music Amateurs
The Lisbon City Council has committed to finding a solution for the Academy of Amateur Music by the end of the year, involving a protocol for using a municipal heritage building. This follows complications regarding the planned transfer to Avenida de Berna, as the property management company Estamo increased the property's price. The council is now exploring options within its own heritage, aiming for a solution that satisfies the academy's needs without incurring the previously agreed costs. The academy, founded in 1884, has been facing financial difficulties and risks losing its current location due to rising rent costs.
