The collection, stored for 15 years, was auctioned by Ewbank's and is considered one of the most profitable sales in their history. The highlight was the "Legendary Collection Complete Master Set," featuring a near-perfect Charizard card, which sold for £100,000, far exceeding initial estimates. This record-breaking sale surpassed a previous auction total of £872,000 from earlier this month.
