Ceasefire in Oleshky enters 30th hour as Russian strikes kill 2, injure 17 elsewhere in Ukraine over past day

The ceasefire in Oleshky has lasted 30 hours without incidents, while Russian strikes elsewhere in Ukraine resulted in two deaths and 17 injuries. The ceasefire, effective from October 27 to November 1, aims to facilitate civilian evacuations and humanitarian aid deliveries. Despite the ceasefire, Russian forces continued attacks in other regions, launching missiles and drones, causing casualties in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia Oblasts. Ukrainian air defenses intercepted numerous drones during these assaults.
