The center of Warsaw will look different. The architect changed the design at Trzaskowski's request.
The new headquarters for TR Warszawa, designed by Thomas Phifer, has undergone significant changes to its design and ecological profile. Initially intended to contrast with the nearby Museum of Modern Art, the project was revised at the request of Warsaw's mayor, Rafał Trzaskowski, to promote sustainability. The updated facade will feature a lightweight, multi-layered structure that reflects light, moving away from the original heavy steel design. Interior updates include modern stage equipment and large doors connecting to the Central Square. Due to budget constraints, the project has been divided into phases, with completion expected in 2029.
