Gasoline prices are falling for the second day in a row. Diesel will also be cheaper this weekend.
From Saturday to Monday, new fuel prices will be implemented in Poland, with Pb95 gasoline at 6.48 PLN, Pb98 at 7.32 PLN, and diesel at 8.15 PLN per liter. These prices reflect a decrease of 3, 4, and 4 groszy respectively. The changes are part of the revived Fuel Price Lower program, contingent on the signing of a tax law by President Karol Nawrocki, which occurred on October 1. The government aims to limit fuel price increases and reduce costs for drivers. Maximum prices will be enforced nationwide, and stations exceeding these limits may face financial penalties. This is the third implementation of the price cap mechanism, previously used during specific crises.
