CERT Polska warns PKO BP customers about a new scam. Beware of such emails
Cybercriminals are impersonating PKO BP to send emails to business clients, urging them to update company documentation. This phishing attempt aims to steal login credentials for online banking. CERT Polska warns that the emails falsely claim regulatory obligations, leading recipients to a fake banking site. Previous scams targeted currency accounts and individual client data updates, with the same goal of gaining account access. Users are advised to log in only through official bank websites and to be cautious of urgent messages. Suspicious emails can be reported via CERT's website or the mObywatel app.
