Czech response to Shahids? Perhaps soon in Ukraine
The Czech company LPP has introduced the JWI-4000 interceptor drone, designed to combat low-cost Iranian Shahed drones used by Russia in Ukraine. This drone can reach speeds of 300 km/h and is equipped with a thermobaric warhead, allowing it to destroy targets without direct impact. The system includes a radar and ground control station, enhancing existing air defense capabilities. While the exact cost and production capacity remain undisclosed, there are speculations about its deployment in Ukraine, where LPP already collaborates with the Ukrainian army. The JWI-4000 aims to address the economic burden of intercepting inexpensive drones with costly missiles.
