Ceuta accuses Morocco of having "planned" the invasion
The President of Ceuta accused Morocco of orchestrating the mass entry of around 100,000 people into the city in late July, criticizing Spain's response. Juan Jesús Vivas stated that Morocco was behind the operation and lamented the lack of action from the Spanish government to prevent the situation. He emphasized that the events could have been avoided if the government had acted on intelligence reports. Vivas outlined five objectives he believes Morocco aimed to achieve through this incident, including undermining Ceuta's sovereignty and destabilizing the region. He expressed frustration over the ongoing lack of normalcy in Ceuta and the government's failure to fulfill promises made to restore order.
