On Friday morning, wait times at the airport reached 1.5 hours due to heightened security measures implemented by the Danish Transport Authority after irregularities were detected. Passengers reported manual checks of carry-on luggage. Lise Agerley Kurstein from the airport stated that disruptions would continue throughout the weekend, with expectations for resolution early next week. Authorities advised travelers to arrive two hours before flights within the Schengen area and three hours for flights outside it, although many passengers indicated that even more time might be necessary to ensure timely boarding.
