She wanted to sell a stroller, lost over 24 thousand zlotys

A woman fell victim to a scam after selling a stroller online. After confirming the sale, she was tricked into providing her bank card details to a fake courier service. This led to her husband's bank account being compromised when he received a call from someone posing as a bank employee, who manipulated him into authorizing transactions. The scammers managed to withdraw nearly 24,500 PLN from their accounts. Police warn against sharing card details, clicking on suspicious links, and trusting unsolicited calls from supposed bank representatives. They advise using official payment methods and being cautious with personal information.
