Psychologist checks: ministry denies delays in payments

The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports confirmed that psychologists participating in a free consultation program for youth are being paid, following complaints about delayed payments. The program, which started on July 2, offers free consultations for young people aged 12 to 35, with psychologists receiving €40 per session within 90 days. The Ministry stated that delays were linked to consultations conducted without prior issuance of payment vouchers. Psychologists reported that some young clients have been waiting for follow-up consultations since August due to these delays. The program aims to promote youth health and was relaunched after a year of evaluation.
