Blow to illegal gambling in Silesia. The gang had over 50 machines and was dismantled

Recent police operations led to the arrest of individuals involved in illegal gambling activities in southern Silesia. Authorities seized 53 gambling machines and over one million zlotys in cash. The investigation, overseen by the Gliwice District Prosecutor's Office, targets an organized crime group operating from 2019 to 2026. Despite previous closures of illegal gambling venues, the group continued to replace confiscated machines. Charges include running illegal gambling operations and participation in organized crime, with one Czech national facing leadership charges. Five individuals are currently in custody, while others face preventive measures.
