CIP accuses the Government of leaving the responsibility for investment growth solely to the private sector
The President of the Confederation of Portuguese Industry (CIP) criticizes the government for shifting investment growth responsibility solely to the private sector after the end of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR). Armindo Monteiro expresses skepticism about the projected 10% increase in private investment by 2027 and emphasizes that housing issues cannot be resolved with superficial solutions. He calls for political commitment and states that the minimum wage will not exceed the planned 970 euros for 2027. Monteiro also doubts the feasibility of advancing labor legislation.
