What hides the Orłowski Cliff? Groundbreaking geological research begins

The Orłowski Cliff, located between Gdynia and Sopot, is experiencing significant erosion, retreating about one meter annually due to natural forces. Despite extensive studies, its geological structure remains poorly understood, prompting new geological research by the Maritime Office in Gdynia and other institutions. This research aims to clarify the cliff's stability factors through drilling and mapping, with minimal disruption to visitors expected during the week-long fieldwork.
