Code yellow due to wind gusts up to 100 kilometers per hour in coastal areas
A low-pressure area named Boelo is causing strong winds across the Netherlands, leading to traffic disruptions and falling branches. The KNMI warns that trees, still full of leaves, may shed both large and small branches. Winds are blowing from the southwest to west, with gusts reaching 75 to 90 km/h along the coast and potentially up to 100 km/h in the Wadden area during showers. Storm damage has already occurred, including fallen trees on vehicles and homes. Yellow weather warnings are in effect for various regions until specified times on Sunday and Monday.
