Code yellow due to wind gusts up to 100 kilometers per hour in coastal areas and Limburg
A low-pressure area named Boelo is causing strong winds across the Netherlands, leading to traffic disruptions and falling branches. The KNMI warns that trees, still full of leaves, may shed many branches. Winds are moving from the south to the southwest and west. Yellow weather warnings are in effect in various regions, including Limburg, Zeeland, Zuid-Holland, Noord-Holland, and the Wadden Islands, with warnings lasting until early Monday in some areas. Storm damage has already occurred, including fallen trees impacting vehicles and homes.
