Collboni proposes to add the name of Pasqual Maragall to the future La Sagrera station

Barcelona's mayor, Jaume Collboni, has proposed naming the future La Sagrera station after former mayor Pasqual Maragall. The proposal has been positively received by Maragall's family. The construction of La Sagrera station is over 70% complete, aiming to become the city's main transport hub. Currently, trains pass through without stopping as interior work continues. Adif has not set a definitive opening date due to historical delays since the project's inception in 2010, with the station expected to be the largest in the country upon completion.
