How we revived our hedgerows by replanting hedges and digging ponds

Daniel Mauger, a 79-year-old former mechanic, cultivates an agroecological paradise on his one-hectare plot in Saint-Loup-Hors. He has transformed a previously neglected area into a thriving ecosystem with diverse hedges and a focus on biodiversity. Mauger emphasizes the importance of restoring nature for future generations, particularly for his grandchildren. Alongside local residents, he has contributed to the replanting of nearly 8 kilometers of hedges in the community to combat species extinction and promote environmental sustainability.
