Commissione d'inchiesta Onu accusa Mosca di crimini contro l'umanita' in Ucraina
An independent international commission mandated by the UN Human Rights Council has accused Russia of crimes against humanity related to attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure and human trafficking to bolster its armed forces. Established in 2022 following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the commission noted an increase in the frequency, intensity, and geographical scope of Russian attacks, causing significant damage to Ukraine's energy sector. The commission does not speak on behalf of the United Nations and is not recognized by Moscow.
