Cooprofar invests 15 million euros in the expansion of logistics platform

Grupo Cooprofar has invested 15 million euros to expand its logistics platform in Alcochete, adding 6,500 square meters to enhance storage and distribution capabilities for pharmaceuticals. The expansion, featuring automation and robotics, aims to improve operational efficiency and stock management, with future capacity for 13,500 pallets. This investment reflects Cooprofar's commitment to sustainable growth in the pharmaceutical distribution sector in Portugal, as the company reported a 13% increase in business volume in 2025, surpassing market growth. Founded in 1975, Cooprofar serves over 1,100 pharmacies and employs more than 300 staff.
