North Korea rejects links to the cyberattack on Binance
Last week, Binance suffered the largest cryptocurrency theft ever, amounting to €5.6 billion, allegedly linked to North Korea's TraderTraitor hacking unit. North Korea denied involvement, calling the accusations a U.S. provocation. Kim Yo Jong criticized the U.S. for labeling North Korea as a cybercriminal state, claiming it misleads international public opinion. Following the attack, Binance froze remaining accounts to protect funds, while U.S. cybersecurity firms confirmed TraderTraitor's involvement, with the FBI labeling it as malicious North Korean cyber activity.
