CPI to Luís Neves will have a reserved room for documents similar to the commission to TAP

The parliamentary inquiry into Minister Luís Neves will have a designated room for sensitive documents, similar to the TAP inquiry. André Ventura, the inquiry's president, emphasized the importance of this secure space due to the sensitive nature of the materials involved, including those under criminal investigation. During the first meeting of the inquiry's committee, Ventura opposed suspending the inquiry's work during the state budget discussions. He stated that even if the inquiry is suspended, preliminary activities will continue, including issuing requests for information and scheduling hearings. The timeline for the first hearings remains uncertain, but Ventura suggested they could begin in November.
