Only one racist paramedic received a prison sentence, whose car a patient died in

Two men were convicted for their racist behavior towards a patient during an emergency call, leading to inadequate medical assistance. The Kecskemét Court sentenced them for violence against a community member and other offenses. On April 4, 2022, they mocked the patient's ethnicity and failed to secure him properly in the ambulance, causing him to sustain injuries. Despite calling for further medical help, the patient's condition worsened, and he could not be saved. The first defendant received a suspended sentence after showing remorse, while the second defendant's sentence remained unchanged.
