Two Brazilian lawyers caught cheating, they wanted to influence artificial intelligence with a secret code

A Brazilian court fined two lawyers for submitting a document containing hidden text aimed at manipulating artificial intelligence. The text, written in white on a white background, was invisible to human readers but detectable by AI. Upon changing the text color, instructions were revealed that directed the AI to disregard certain directives and superficially evaluate the submission. This method has been used elsewhere to influence AI outcomes favorably for the author. The defendant did not respond to the allegations, leading to a default judgment in favor of the plaintiff. The court imposed a fine of $16,000 and reported the incident to the bar association.
