Sándor Csányi may be a candidate for the FIFA presidency

The UEFA is searching for a candidate to challenge FIFA president Gianni Infantino in the upcoming election, with Hungarian Football Association president Sándor Csányi emerging as a potential contender. Infantino's controversial plan to create a FIFA-owned commercial entity faced backlash, leading him to retract it and apologize. UEFA aims to nominate a candidate by November 18 to replace Infantino, who has become unpopular in Europe. Alongside Csányi, Romanian Football Federation president Razvan Burleanu is also mentioned as a possible candidate. Csányi previously criticized Infantino's actions, particularly after the dismissal of FIFA's operational director, Kevin Lamourt.
