Czarzasty on Nawrocki in the TC: Patron of the brown coalition, helpless aggressor
On Friday, the Constitutional Tribunal announced a break in the activities of its president and vice-president, appointing Judge Anna Korwin-Piotrowska to lead. President Karol Nawrocki interrupted his trip to Senegal to visit the Tribunal, where a confrontation occurred between him and judges appointed by the current parliament. The president's spokesperson claimed there was an assault on him, while Korwin-Piotrowska accused Nawrocki of attempting to force his way in. The incident sparked political commentary, with Sejm Marshal Włodzimierz Czarzasty criticizing Nawrocki's actions and emphasizing the need for respect for the Tribunal's independence. Czarzasty called for the president to officially swear in the newly appointed judges to restore normalcy in the Tribunal.
