Is November 2, 2026 a day off from work and school?

On November 2, 2026, which falls on All Souls' Day, Poland will not observe a public holiday, and most employees will work as usual. November 1, All Saints' Day, is a public holiday, but since it falls on a Sunday in 2026, there will be no compensatory day off. The foundation "Można Lepiej!" proposed an amendment to equalize holidays on Sundays with those on Saturdays, but the petition was rejected by the parliamentary committee. Schools will hold classes on November 2, although directors may grant an additional day off. Notably, if directors allocate two days off around Independence Day on November 11, students could enjoy a longer break.
