The prosecutor's office has initiated an investigation into an active assault on Constitutional Tribunal judges Anna Korwin-Piotrowska and Krystian Markiewicz. The incident occurred on the night of October 30-31, 2026, when several individuals forcefully confronted the judges at the Tribunal's premises in Warsaw. They attempted to physically push the judges away from the entrance, violating their bodily integrity, and later entered the building with the intent to unlawfully influence the Tribunal's official activities. However, the judges' firm response prevented the assailants from achieving their goal. The investigation is based on media reports and official notes, and it is being conducted by a prosecutor from the National Prosecutor's Office.
