Carolina Taveira finished sixth in the 200m backstroke at the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games. Julia Leal had mixed results in table tennis, winning one match and losing another. José Azevedo did not qualify for the next round in rowing, finishing 13th. Rafaela Silva lost her badminton match, while Lara Marques placed 10th in wushu. Portugal is represented by 25 athletes at these Games, which run until November 13.
