Bálint Bús may remain in custody until December 25.

The Kecskemét District Court has extended the detention of Balázs Bús until December 25 due to suspicions of embezzlement related to the National Cultural Fund. The prosecution initiated this extension based on ongoing investigations into significant financial misconduct. Bús, who previously served as the deputy chairman of the NKA, was arrested in June for allegedly distributing 17 billion HUF secretly before elections for campaign purposes. He has also been implicated in a corruption case involving a 150 million HUF bribe. Other officials have been detained in connection with this case, and the investigation continues.
