Demonstrator disrupts the setup of problem wolf 'Bram' at Naturalis

On Sunday, visitors witnessed a taxidermist preparing a wolf's fur around a model, despite protests from Animal Rebellion against the display. Activists argued that showcasing the wolf could mislead children into thinking humans are superior to animals. Police prevented demonstrators from entering the museum, but two activists managed to infiltrate. One activist knelt before the wolf, expressing opposition to its preparation and advocating for the wolf's legacy. The wolf, known as Bram, was shot last December after exhibiting aggressive behavior towards humans. The mounted wolf will be displayed at Naturalis, with interest from other museums as well.
