"Bangs and Pops", a new album by Gaston Lagaffe, funny and tender

Gaston Lagaffe returns with a new album titled "Des boum et des paf" on October 21, three years after his last release. This album is the second not created by his original author, André Franquin, and is illustrated by Marc Delafontaine with co-writer Lewis Trondheim. The book is published by Dupuis with a print run of one million copies, and future installments are planned every two years. This release is seen as beneficial for the struggling specialized bookstore sector, which has faced a 15% decline in sales in the first half of the year.
