Research launched in Meurthe-et-Moselle after the possible crash of a military plane

Search operations began on the evening of October 20 for a military aircraft and its crew in Meurthe-et-Moselle. The plane reportedly crashed between Nancy and Pont-à-Mousson, within a triangle formed by Rogéville, Domevre, and Tremblecourt. According to Pont-à-Mousson's mayor, Henry Lemoine, debris was spotted by a drone. Witnesses reported hearing a loud explosion and seeing a fireball. Various emergency services, including firefighters and air force rescue teams, are involved in the search, which covers fields and forests, with helicopters also deployed.
