Retirees from the Caisse des dépôts et consignations are suing CNP Assurances by the dozens

On October 15, 43 former employees of the Caisse des dépôts et consignations filed lawsuits against their mutual insurance and CNP Assurances for unilaterally terminating their death and dependency insurance contracts. Colette Saudubois, a retiree who worked there for 39 years, is among those affected. In October 2021, the insurer announced the contracts would end two months later, leaving her and many others feeling cheated. Despite signing a petition in December 2021, the contracts were terminated on December 31, leading to ongoing disputes.
