Young man suspected of setting fire to local accommodation arrested

A Polícia Judiciária arrested a 22-year-old student suspected of setting fire to a local accommodation in Vila Nova de Gaia on June 12. The fire endangered around thirty guests but was quickly contained due to their prompt action. The suspect had no apparent motive for the act and will face a judicial interrogation for potential coercive measures.
