Arrested for stealing copper cables in Fundão

Two men, aged 25 and 29, were arrested by the GNR in Fundão for stealing non-precious metals. During the operation, authorities seized a vehicle and 574 kilograms of stolen metal cables. The suspects were caught in the act of stealing copper cables from an 800-meter communication line. They have been charged and the case has been forwarded to the local court.
