Thieves steal 157,000 euros worth of bicycles from store in Sint-Niklaas: "They knew exactly which bicycles they wanted"

A bike shop in Sint-Niklaas suffered a theft of bicycles worth €157,000. The owner, Tom Temmerman, witnessed the incident live via security cameras. Three thieves broke in through the back door and stole 13 bikes in just six minutes, targeting high-end models, particularly from the Italian brand Colnago. This incident marks the third time Temmerman has been a victim of theft, despite efforts to secure the shop. Police suspect the thieves may be part of a gang responsible for similar thefts in the region.
