New textbooks will reach schools. Krzysztof Gawkowski: We experienced social paralysis
The Deputy Prime Minister met with school directors to discuss online threats as part of the "Defend Yourself Online" initiative. He emphasized the need for increased awareness of internet risks, highlighting that technology can be both enjoyable and dangerous. Gawkowski noted that the state has only recently begun to address these issues more seriously, especially after experiencing social paralysis due to misinformation. He stressed the importance of educating students about online dangers, stating that previous efforts focused mainly on traffic safety. The government plans to distribute free educational materials on combating hate and radicalism to teachers, with an online version also available. The meeting included lectures from security agencies on preventing radicalization.
