Two arrested in operation against drug trafficking in Porto

Two men, aged 27 and 42, were placed in preventive detention following their arrest during a police operation targeting a significant drug trafficking network near the University of Porto. The operation, conducted by the PSP, resulted in the seizure of over 10,600 drug doses, including cannabis and cash. Focused on the S. Tomé neighborhood in Paranhos, the investigation involved multiple searches and aimed to disrupt drug trafficking in the Porto metropolitan area. The arrested individuals were presented to the Criminal Instruction Court, where they received the most severe precautionary measure: preventive detention.
