Due to construction, there will be no trains between Ghent and Oudenaarde during the autumn break

From October 31 to November 8, there will be no trains running between Gent-Sint-Pieters and Oudenaarde due to maintenance work. Infrabel is conducting repairs on the tracks, and NMBS will provide replacement buses stopping at all intermediate stations. The train service will resume normally on November 9. For travel between Gent and Oudenaarde, passengers can take a bus or reroute via Kortrijk, which takes longer. NMBS advises checking the online travel planner for updated schedules and routes. The maintenance includes work on signals and level crossings, as well as platform improvements at De Pinte station.
