Overnight stays in tourist accommodation recorded an increase

In September, the tourism accommodation sector saw a 2% increase in overnight stays, totaling 8.7 million, marking the highest growth in four months. For the first nine months of the year, overnight stays rose by 1.5% to 66 million. Total revenue for the sector increased by 5.3% to €6.02 billion, with room revenue up by 5% to €4.65 billion. In September alone, there were 3.4 million guests, a 2.5% rise, and total revenue reached €890.2 million, reflecting a 6.1% growth.
