Dramatic situation at the hospital in Lubliniec. The facility is to be transformed into a company

The Powiat Hospital in Lubliniec faces severe financial issues, with debts exceeding 80 million PLN, leading to unpaid wages for medical staff since July. A meeting with the county board has sparked hope for a resolution, including a proposed loan to settle outstanding payments. The hospital has suspended several departments due to staffing shortages and financial constraints, prompting discussions about transforming it into a commercial company focused on medical rescue services. This restructuring could take 4-5 months, during which the county plans to seek financial assistance from the Ministry of Finance.
