Imminent draw in Israeli elections in favor of Netanyahu

Next week, Israelis will vote with 26 ballots available for each participating party. Voters aged 18 and older can cast their votes on October 27, provided they are registered correctly. The electorate consists of approximately 7.3 million voters, including 1.2 million Palestinian citizens of Israel. Voting is only possible within Israel, prompting many expatriates to return to vote. The Knesset has 120 seats, requiring 61 for a majority. Since 1948, no party has achieved an absolute majority, leading to coalition governments. Netanyahu's coalition currently holds 60 seats but is not projected to maintain a majority. The opposition, led by Gadi Eisenkot, is also struggling to form a government. Political fragmentation benefits Netanyahu, who remains in power until a stable government is formed or new elections are called.
