Three rescued seal pups released in Blankenberge: "I am very proud that we can help"
Three rehabilitated seal pups were released at Blankenberge Pier, named Rosa, Storm, and Oskar. Rosa and Storm were found injured and weighed only 8.6 kg upon rescue. Oskar, found in France, weighed 14.23 kg and had a possible hook injury. The seals were adopted for €500 each, allowing the adopters to name them and support Sea Life's operations. Oskar's adopters, Sam and Annelies, emphasized the importance of environmental awareness for their children. They attended the release, where Oskar now weighs over 30 kg. Lukas was even allowed to skip school for the event, which the school approved.
