Drie vliegtuigen met Oekraïners uit Olesjky aangekomen in Belarus

Three planes carrying evacuees from Olesjky, Ukraine, have arrived in Belarus, where they were met by medical teams. Ukrainian MP Davyd Arachamia reported that four additional planes landed to pick up evacuees. The residents of Olesjky had been trapped since the Russian invasion began in 2022, facing constant attacks and shortages of essential supplies. A ceasefire allowed for evacuations, with some evacuees choosing to remain in Russia or return to Olesjky. Meanwhile, attacks between Russia and Ukraine continue, with casualties reported from drone strikes and infrastructure damage in Kyiv.
