Duffel plant safety meeting around Go Church: "We want to help the youth"

The mayor of Duffel, Sofie Joosen, is organizing a meeting regarding the controversial youth church Go Church to discuss safety and support for the youth involved. Concerns arose after a report revealed financial, sexual, and psychological exploitation within the church. The meeting will include police and a community figure familiar with the youth, aiming to facilitate communication and support. The municipality previously decided to restrict Go Church's access to municipal facilities to maintain neutrality, while the current rental agreement with a non-profit organization will be reviewed at the end of the year.
