Doves dumped in cardboard box along the road in Halle-Booienhoven

In Halle-Booienhoven, an unknown individual abandoned a box of pigeons along the road. The ten ringed and tame pigeons were discovered by a woman who alerted Animal Rescue Service volunteers. Unfortunately, two pigeons were already injured, with one dead and another severely hurt. The surviving pigeons are now being cared for and will be examined by a veterinarian. The owner remains unknown, as the pigeons were found malnourished and only had numbers on their rings. Animal Rescue Service is seeking witnesses to identify the owner.
