Thousands of THC candies seized, destined for the Netherlands
French customs intercepted thousands of THC-infused candies intended for the Dutch market, raising concerns about child safety and trademark violations. The candies closely resembled products from a well-known European brand, potentially misleading consumers. A total of 3,560 packages were seized and destroyed, having been shipped from the United States. OLAF has identified websites and stores in France selling similar products and is monitoring them. Previous incidents have highlighted the dangers of THC candies, including cases where children fell ill after consuming them. Authorities are taking appropriate measures to address these issues.
