Two Poles create a "new Enigma". Their chip is designed to protect against quantum computers.
Quantum computers pose a significant threat to current encryption methods, which are vital for banking and military communications. The Polish startup ResQuant is developing post-quantum security solutions directly integrated into chips, enhancing protection against potential breaches. This initiative aligns with EU regulations aimed at ensuring technological sovereignty and security. ResQuant's founders, Sven Zagała and Michał Andrzejczak, leverage their extensive experience in technology and cybersecurity to create robust encryption systems. Their work has already garnered attention from the European Space Agency and NATO, with plans for production set to begin in 2024.
